The RS9113/RS9116/RS14100 family of modules are tailored to suit the requirements of the IoT market. It is perfect for a smart thermostat allowing provisioning over Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) and configuring the Wi-Fi parameters. The thermostat can periodically transmit data collected from its onboard temperature sensor to the cloud while only operating essential components and being in a state of sleep to provided an extended battery life. It can also process incoming commands from the cloud and use a relay communicate them to the HVAC system via a standard two-wire interface. The RS9113/RS9116/RS14100's advanced hardware based PUF security and encryption methodologies provide for intruder free secure communication to/from the thermostat.
